This flag was flying with proportions 2:3 at the little harbour for yachts in Weert (The Netherlands) some years ago. Weert and Bocholt are neighbouring municipalities, both lying on the Zuid-Willemsvaart (canal).
Mark Sensen, 8 October 2001
The flag of Bocholt is indeed blue - white - green, vertical stripes. Our standard flags are proportioned 2 : 3, but we use also other proportions, depending of flagmasts (for instance wimpels with proportions 1 :5).
Koen Nijsen, from the Municipal Council of Bocholt, 9 October 2001
