Description of the flag

Londerzeel (17,000 inhabitants) is located in the arrondissement of Halle-Vilvoorde.

The flag is: Tierced in pale, I Gules, inescutcheon quartered, I and IV Argent, three fesses Gules, II and III Argent, three axes Gules, topped by a crown Or and Gules, II Or, inescutcheon Or, a fess Azure, a saltire Gules, topped by a [device?] Or, III Azure, inescutcheon Argent, two diamonds Gules, topped by a cat Argent, holding a mouse Argent. Proportions are 9:11.

The flag was adopted on 19 July 1978.
